The emigration journey is filled with exciting yet challenging and emotional moments. I’ve experienced this firsthand, which gives me a deep understanding and empathy for my clients’ experiences. When my parents and brother emigrated to Alberta, Canada, to start an agricultural business, I chose to stay in the Netherlands. It was a significant moment in our lives, not just for them but for me as well. The impact of such a change resonates deeply, affecting not only your own life but also the lives of those around you. I continue to visit Canada regularly, keeping myself connected to the country and informed about life, work, and living there.
Since 2001, I have dedicated myself to guiding people through the visa process, with a particular focus on Canada. After starting my journey at Interfarms, I co-founded Visa4you with my colleagues Frits and Hester in 2006. Since March 2006, I’ve been a Regulated Immigration Consultant for Canada, proudly registered as a full member with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). This official membership is a requirement for assisting individuals with Canadian visa applications, and I’m the only one in the Netherlands with this specialized license. It’s something I am proud of, and it motivates me to continue helping others navigate their Canadian immigration journey with confidence.
